ICT test probe basics


ICT(in-Circuit Test System), commonly known as online tester In Chinese, is mainly used to assemble Circuit boards (PCbas) for testing. "Online" here is a literal translation of "In-Circuit", which refers mainly to components on the line. Online testing is a testing technology that continuously opens the circuit without removing the pin of the component. "Online" reflects that ICT detects the assembly problems of the circuit board by testing the components or the state of the on-line short-circuit.

1. As a standard testing means, ICT is widely used, with high measurement accuracy and clear instructions for detected problems. It is very easy for workers with average electronic skills to deal with problematic PCbas, and ICT can greatly improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.

 

2. ICT Test is mainly to test the open circuit, short circuit and welding condition of all parts of PCBA by testing the probe in contact with the test point of PCB layout.

 

Can be divided into open circuit test, short circuit test, resistance test, capacitance test, diode test, transistor test, field effect tube test, IC pin test (testjet 'connect check BasicScan Bist), etc. For other general and special components, such as missing installation, misinstallation, parameter value deviation, welding joint welding, circuit board opening and short circuit, etc., and which component or opening and short circuit fault is located at which point will be accurately told to the user through the printer or screen display.
